Thorncroft was thrilled to be the beneficiary of the 2nd Annual “811” Golf Classic held on June 25, 2018, at Honeybrook Golf Club. Bagel, the pony, was on hand to take receipt of the very generous check gifted to Thorncroft from the participants and sponsors of the event. PECO, the parent company of 811 has a long-term relationship with Thorncroft and hosts a day of service here annually.
On behalf of the entire Thorncroft community, we wish to express our sincerest of thanks to all our friends at PECO and all involved with the event. Your donation will have an immediate and direct impact on the Farm, the riders, the horses and our volunteers. Thank you!
Thank you to the Philadelphia Union and Philadelphia Insurance Companies for choosing Thorncroft as their Charity of the Match for the game on August 25th against the New England Revolution. It was a win for both Thorncroft and the Union!
Thursday, August 30th was a great day for Thorncroft as we launched our first 5K Trail Run, Walk and Ride on the grounds of the Farm. 150 people registered to participate in the event that took them on a tour of the 70 acres of our pastures and fields. The participants were pleased with how well organized the event was, and the runners were surprisingly challenged by the course.
