Thriving in Times of Change

A workshop with Lead Horse Leadership Development

Thriving in Times of Change

March 28, 2021   –  10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

A workshop by Lead Horse Leadership Development

Are you a leader in a company, non-profit, your community, or family?  Could you benefit personally or professionally from being able to manage change for yourself and others more effectively?  Would practical tips for leading under pressure help you and those you lead?  If so, you should register for this workshop.

This is an opportunity to meet Lead Horse Leadership Development ( a new partner for us in 2021) and experience first-hand what horses can teach us about leadership and thriving in times of change.

In this experiential two-hour workshop we will be “hands-on” with the horses, participating in groundwork activities and exercises.  You will:

  • Understand what horses can teach us about thriving during times of change.
  • Participate in an interactive session with horses that will provide tools for thriving in times of change.
  • Get practical tips for building resilience and growing an inner sense of calm during difficult times.

Horses evoke deep emotional and physical responses in people, especially in individuals affected by or managing trauma or stress. Because of this innate quality, horses offer unique healing opportunities for veterans returning from service and emergency first responders.

Beginning on March 4, this six-week session will explore horsemanship fundamentals including a study on equine behavior, learning to groom and tack, herd dynamics, and round penning. No prior horse experience is required. Class size is limited to six individuals.
