Para Dressage Symposium with Shayna Simon 

Join us for a two-day USEF rider clinic designed for current and prospective Para Dressage Athletes. Dressage coaches are encouraged to attend. Each day will consist of 45-minute private mounted sessions, either as coach or as athlete. Sunday’s sessions will be classification of prospective para riders. 

Faculty

Shayna Simon is a Grand Prix Dressage Rider and Trainer, USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, a USEF Para Dressage Coach, and coached Paralympic Dressage for Tokyo. She has trained with Willy Arts, Steffan Wolfe, Anabelle and Klaus Balkenhol, Guenter Seidel, Steffen and Shannon Peters, and Scott Hasler. She competed in the International CDI Small Tour and held Top 10 rank in the country. 

Shadow Teaching

Shadow Coaching is available upon request. Shadow Coaching is a specific and advanced application of coaching based on observation and feedback from the Master Coach, with reflective practice by the learning coach and athlete. 
General Information
Athletes or coaches must confirm ride times with Carole Laulis prior to purchasing their tickets.
Horse use is also organized through Carole Laulis. Borrowed horses are available on a limited first-come first-serve basis. Ship-ins are welcome and must send a copy of Coggins and shot records to carole@thorncroft.org at least two weeks prior to the event. Overnight Stabling is available Saturday night and requires an online ticket purchase at least two weeks prior to the event. Borrowed horses will be offered on a limited first-come, first-serve basis. Ship ins welcome.
Clinic attire required (ASMI Certified Helmet, polo, belt, breeches, and boots).
